The Pink Quartz Diamantina is a PINK Quartz but it is also correct to call it a Rose Quartz! or probably better a "Rosy" Quartz! All pink colored quartz is considered Rose but "common" Rose Quartz grows in a mass and it rarely develops long crystals. Pink Quartz ~~~ along with Citrine, Green Quartz, Blue Quartz, Red Quartz, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Milk Quartz and clear Quartz- are all in the same family of stones - Silicates.
